Juqueí
Juqueí is a popular beach in the city of São Sebastião, São Paulo, located on the northern coastline of the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is adjacent to Barra do Una and Preta Beach and a little more than 10 km from Camburi Beach. The beach is approximately 3.5 km long, with fine white sand and clear waters. It has many hotels, inns, bars, beach kiosks and street vendors, as well as grocery stores, pharmacies and bakeries in the neighborhood. In addition to its natural attractions, Juquehy is also known for its traditional cuisine, such as “Pescado a Cambucu”, which is a type of hake (official wikipedia information).

Great area to walk around, with handicrafts, cafes, small shops of all kinds around, and the house is very close (about 2 minutes walk) to Juquehy Mall, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and restaurants, the closest one is the Massapé pizzeria next to the house.

One of the favorite excursions for tourists visiting Juquehy is ”The Islands” (As Ilhas) is also one of the most beautiful landscapes on the north coast of São Paulo. The islands are located just 1.5 km from Juquehy beach, from where the boats that accompany tourists on the tour depart. On sunny days, this little paradise receives dozens of yachts, speedboats and boats full of tourists who enjoy the transparent sea for a nice swim.
It is also worth renting a speedboat or taking boat trips that include visits to other islands. In this case, a good beach to start the tour is Barra do Una beach (just 2 km from Juquehy). More comprehensive tours usually also include visits to Ilha das Couves (Cabbage Island), Ilha dos Gatos (Cat Island) and Ilha Montão de Trigo (Wheat Mountain Island).

ACCESSIBILITY DISTANCE FROM OUR VILLAS
Car: Guarulhos International Airport is 130 km away by car, approximately 2 hours.
Congonhas (San Palo) Airport is 160 km away by car, approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
You can rent a car or you can book a one-way or round-trip minibus with a private driver.
Bus: Empresa Litorânea, the bus leaves from the Tietê terminal, get off at the entrance to Juquehy and take a taxi or walk for 1 km.
Helicopter: There is a private helipad in Juquehy, you can get there by renting an air taxi.
Airplane: you can rent a car and take the opportunity to get to know the other beautiful beaches in the area, other options are to go by taxi or bus, from Guarulhos International Airport there is a bus from Litorânea that stops in Juquehy.
-Boiçucanga is the closest town with an emergency room and hospital, about 15 kilometers away (less than 20 minutes by car).
