Epirus extends to the northwestern tip of Greece. It consists of the prefectures of Arta, Ioannina, Preveza and Thesprotia.
It is located between the Pindos mountain range and the Ionian Sea, as well as the Adriatic Sea.
Those who visit Epirus describe it as an earthly paradise. It combines mountain and sea. Its unique landscapes are reminiscent of paintings.

For mountain lovers, we highly recommend visiting Zagorochoria, a complex of 46 traditional picturesque villages built amphitheatrically.

HISTORY & MYTHOLOGY
The history of Epirus has left behind important findings, historical and religious monuments of great archaeological and historical importance.
Starting from the first settlements with the Ancient Theater of Dodona which is one of the largest and best preserved ancient Greek theaters, Ancient Nicopolis, the Necromancer of Acheron which is a world-famous monument of how the Ancients dealt with death.
A monument that captures the myth of the descent of the dead to Hades, the Underworld, through the Acheron River and the most famous boatman in the world, Ancient Gitani, passing through Byzantium with the Byzantine castles of Ioannina and Arta, Byzantine churches and monasteries, traditional settlements, stone bridges and historical sites.

MUSICAL TRADITION
The musical tradition of Epirus is one of the greatest cultural treasures of Greece. The traditional local instrument is the ΄΄clarinet’’ which ‘‘Sounds in the soul as they say’’. The sound is sad, even the songs with a cheerful purpose sound “heavy”.
The dances of Epirus are characterized by slow, dynamic and majestic movement in which the upright posture is emphasized and the heavy walking is underlined. Their style, in general, is heavy and imposing. The most basic dances are the dances in Tria, in Dyo, the Zagorisioi, the Tsamiki, etc.

We are a group whose roots are deeply tied to Epirus.
The idea for this venture began with our friend, Nikoleta, and today together we share a common vision: to show you our place as we experienced it. We grew up in villages and neighborhoods where everyday life had the face of an Epirus mother and an Epirus grandmother.
We carry within us the image of a house that always smelled of freshly baked pie, traditional dishes and spoon sweets, made with pure ingredients from our garden. We learned from a young age what an authentic table means, an open embrace and Epirus hospitality that lasts until the morning at festivals.
These experiences are our compass today. Because we know firsthand the true taste of our place, we choose for you restaurants in Epirus that honor this tradition. We look for places that offer the same quality and warmth that we found in our own families.
